Hey!
Tammy and I have submitted a proposal to the Manatū Taonga Cultural Sector Regeneration Fund. As part of the evaluation process, Manatū Taonga is interested to hear from the people that are intended to benefit from each proposal. That's you!

In brief, we are looking to create more platforms for practicing artists and emerging talent through unforgettable experiences; pop up exhibitions, live art competitions and workshops in inspiring nature settings, (inc our giant kauri studio/garden). I will be collaborating with other artists to share tips and techniques, and to bring creative fun to our amazing corner of the world. Tammy will be all smiles, as we open our home and beyond, to explore art in nature. If you don't already know I have recently taken up the role of NZ producer of Art Battle, starting with the first round of heats scheduled for next year in Auckland. Venue and dates to be announced in due course. So this ties in perfectly, connecting the dots to make art, and artists, the stars of the show. And after so much lockdown we could all do with more shows, right?! So please please take the time to get this arty party started! We literally couldn't do it without you.

With so much uncertainty around Rockit Design has been focussing on a collaborative community venture with Loaded Digital. We have joined forces to create ProLocal, it’s all about connecting and supporting local - an online platform and app to help locals to connect with the businesses and community organisations on their doorstep, via directories, featured listings, coupons, events, local news, awards and more. Suffice to say it is pretty damn cool. It makes me feel good about doing good, in a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world - and with your help, we’ll be coming to an area near you very soon.
