Choice Backpackers offers budget accommodation for backpackers and international travellers in the City Center of New Zealand's largest and most vibrant city.

We focus on a unique, international and authentic backpacker experience resulting in service that is as personalized as possible offering the guests a feeling of being home while actually being thousands of miles away from it.

About the role

This permanent full-time role is for 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday from around 09:00 am to 05:00 pm and is paid at $21.33 per hour.

The position is available from 01/03/2022 or earlier if agreed to.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be but are not limited to the following physically active tasks:

Brooming and moping floors
Cleaning the Bathrooms and toilets
Refilling cleaning products in the carts
Refilling toilet paper, paper towels and soap in all the toilets and bathrooms
Collection of the linen from private rooms
Making beds and vacuuming floors in private rooms
Collection of rubbish from all the floors and changing bin liners
Cleaning the kitchen and dining area

Skills, experience and requirements

Full training for candidates without any experience will be provided, however previous work experience is highly beneficial

You must be able to communicate in the English language at a reasonable level verbally & written to understand written and oral work instructions and to provide feedback.
