We're on the hunt for a “jack-of-all-trades” design and marketing professional to join the team here at Scratch

You’ll be a multi-talented individual, comfortable wearing a few different hats - on any given day you could be working on a range of different projects.

Website projects - A reasonable amount of your time will be spent assisting with the business end of website projects - from project management through to assisting the dev team with CMS configuration, QA review, Analytics setup and loading content.

Marketing projects - Some days may see you helping with different kinds of work from around the business - designing up an email campaign or web page, the odd web banner or even printed collateral.

Client and technical support - You’ll also be the first line of support for clients, managing all incoming support enquiries, which could mean writing and updating website content and providing technical support, or managing more technical jobs with other people in the business.

To achieve all of this, you’ll need a to be a “marketing thinker” with a good eye for design, and the technical know-how to get things done. Multi-tasking and prioritisation will be second nature, and you’ll also have absolutely fastidious attention to detail.

We are looking for people who are naturally inquisitive - always asking why and thinking about the bigger picture when solving a problem. You’re all about getting into the nitty-gritty of a project and understand the importance of the getting the details right to produce the best possible outcome.

A bit about you

- A hunger to learn new skills and develop your technical capabilities
- A good eye for design, and the ability to execute small graphic design projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational abilities
- An ability to manage relationships and build rapport with clients

Technical skills
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel / Google Sheets and similar tools
- Experience with using website content management systems (e.g. Wordpress)
- Experience working in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- A basic working knowledge of html/css
- Experience with Google Analytics, and ideally Data Studio
- Any other experience using tools such as Zapier, - Mailchimp, CRM systems etc would be advantageous

This is an intermediate level role - you’ll have 3-4 years’ experience in a diverse marketing role, where you have had hands on experience working on a range of marketing, website and design projects. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a busy role dealing with multiple stakeholders / clients and running multiple projects.
