Hampton Jones Director Simon O'Brien met Property Developer and Entrepreneur Kevin Carlin in February 2020, following an article Simon had written on the role of an Engineer to the Contract (linked below). As experts in this role, Hampton Jones was subsequently engaged to provide Engineer to the Contract, Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to Kevin Carlin's latest venture, the luxury, 6-star Carlin Hotel in Queenstown.

2 years later The Carlin Queenstown is now operational and the official opening event was held in the hotel's Oro restaurant last week.

Simon O'Brien was in attendance and said of the event "It was a great opportunity to see everyone who assisted on the project, as well as the Mayor, Jim Boult along with many locals. I heard many compliments on the hotel, from the quality of the finishes to the wonderful atmosphere. It really was an amazing project to be a part of."

Our most recent project, the luxury 6 star The Carlin Queenstown was featured on Seven Sharp last night ahead of its Grand Opening event.
