Cecil - previous Learning Management System - UoA
31/10/2021
When you turn your vision and innovative ideas into realities - all students and staff who involved in this third year student project (Computer Supported Learning, CSL a.k.a. CECIL) into the first LMS in the world - we should all be proud of ourselves - (archive from Hearld, back in around 1999)

Most of you who graduated 5 years ago (when UoA switched to Canvas) might not even have seen this version of CECIL. It was implemented back in 2014 and only selected courses were piloting it. Have to say some of our student developers have some good design skills...
uoa folks - Happy blessed 2020!!

You may be unaware of the current cyber-attack happening around the world. A malicious software called "WannaCry" is exploiting Windows machines that do not have the latest patches installed.
The University of Auckland has prepared for this malicious software. However, if your personal Windows machine is unpatched, and you receive this malicious software sent to you it can encrypt your data, demanding a ransom to unlock it.
Please be extra vigilant, and continue your good practice of not opening files from unknown sources and ensure that your computer has the current patches installed.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Student Contact and Support, [email protected], 0800 61 62 63
