Looking for some birthing inspiration this weekend?
Look no further! A couple of generations have been inspired by the birthing and midwifery stories coming from"The Farm" community in Tennessee. These women have proven that the physiology of birth works when women are confident and well supported.
Auckland Home Birth Association is hosting a small movie fundraiser this coming Saturday. We'll be screening "Birth Story, Ina May Gaskin and the Farm Midwives (2012)". Please consider coming along and supporting AHBA, waged and unwaged tickets available as well as pay-as-you-can š
Take advantage of this opportunity to see how a large group of women/couples reclaimed birth and contributed hugely to the positive herstory of birthing in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Advance ticket purchase is preferred but we will have door sales available (unless sold out prior). Please share.
Get your tickets for our cosy movie screening of 'Birth Story'! šæā
