With sorrow in our hearts, yet peace in God’s promise, we announce the passing of our dearly loved Malama Terisa Sio, who has gone home to be with the Lord after a brave battle with cancer. Her faith, courage, and unwavering love will forever remain in our hearts.
Cherished daughter of Vitale and Sina Sio, loving partner of Terry Soli, devoted mother to Moli, Lexcy-Arie and Vitale (Jnr), treasured sister of Miriama & Monty, Peter, Victor, Sanele & Wao and Daniel & Rita. Adored aunty of Ramona, Emmanuel, Chantelle, Carson, Georgina, Gloriah, Waitohi, Merry Mei, Malachai, August, Layla, Nikolai, Nesian, Niziah, Gabriel, Kyrie, Elijah, Bailey and many more.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend the following services:
The Family Service will be held at Holy Family Church, 169 Mungavin Ave, Cannons Creek, Porirua on Monday 15th of June 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
The Funeral will be held in the same church at 11am on Wednesday 17th of June 2026.
She will be lying in state at:

Kua rungaiti te wao nui ā Tāne Mahuta i tou ngarotanga atu.
With broken hearts, our whānau regret to share that our daughter, moko, big sister, mummy, aunty, cousin and bestie received her angel wings yesterday morning. Surrounded in immense love, at the Mercy Hospice in Ponsonby. She fought so incredibly hard to stay here right from her diagnosis last year, to be here for her daughters Mahalia-June, 5 & Amāia, 4 who were her whole world and more. She defied so many expectations. The strongest will power we have ever seen.
At this stage, our girl is with us at home in Glen Innes. We will spend a few nights here, and we welcome all those that can and want to see her, sit with her, share stories, sing and surround her with aroha❤️

From Monday morning at 9am we will leave Glen Innes Auckland to travel north to spend one night in her whare tūpuna. Te Houhanga ā Rongo Station Road, Dargaville with the rā nehu funeral on Tuesday 11am at Te Houhanga Urupā.
If you are travelling north please take it easy and be safe whānau.

As per the wishes of the late Wayne Henshaw below you will see the Funeral Arrangements as follow.
