Ahead of tomorrow's Natural Rhythms party, I just want to thank everyone who's supported any of the four labels in the NR family in any way - be they dancer, DJ, producer or promoter. We never take it for granted as we continue to take Kiwi club music to the world. Hope to see some of you at Ink tomorrow night.

We've got the first Natural Rhythms party of 2024 coming up fast. And we're celebrating New Zealand Music Month with an incredible array of music-makers and DJs.
Natural Rhythms is a family of record labels (Grass Green, Electric Orange, Black Sands and Red Snapper) taking Kiwi club music to the world.
At Ink on Saturday, May 18, the brains behind tracks from Monkey Boots, nineteen79, soulfoundation, Mono/Loco, Hooky and more will combine for a night of house in all its forms.
They’ll be joined by very special guests Leon Dahl and label founder DJ Andy Vann
The party will mark the release of multiple new EPs, including a couple by me. Next up on Electric Orange is Unframed Pedantry, under my own name. Then there's Heroic Dancefloor on Red Snapper in my Mono/Loco guise. Not to mention a Monkey.Boots remix on Leon's excellent Gimme Love EP (Grass Green). Plus new stuff from the prolific Gene Schmutzer-Kennedy (Black Sands).
The theme of NZ Music Month 2024 is Amplifying Aotearoa / Paorotia Aotearoa. It aims to shine a light on those who are the heartbeat of our music scene.
Natural Rhythms is a chance to dance to homegrown beats and the people who made them - all night long.
