Restoring this LWB Patrol back to how it was when I first bought it...all original as it rolled out the factory in 1993...
Check out the difference in coil springs..rear is now standard, front is lifted by 3"...Once the front is swappedback this truck is for sale and I'll keep Dirty Gerty...

All in position now...final stage...just climb under 7 tonnes of chassis rails, engine and drive train (with no wheels to catch it) then use the jack to get am approximate ooooooohhhhh so close position..
Then grab the axle and wiggle it with ever-increasing enthusiasm (aye Owen..???) until the clamp, the newly fabricated spring eye, seal washer and spacer all go into perfect alignment ...then just gently wiggle the pin through one side...yeah yeah...then...dobthe exact same thing on the opposite eye whilst keeping the grooves cut either side of the lower curve in the exact right place to receive a locking bolt each side securing the pin...

Using the strop location and even how the snag bite folds back in on itself to rotate, lift and manoeuvre into line for the pins..inbetween the axle studs and swing it into position...
