"𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗥𝗢"
In your head, you’re gliding like an Olympian. You feel sleek, powerful, and perfectly streamlined. But then... someone pulls out a camera.
Suddenly, you realise that what you feel you’re doing and what you’re actually doing are two completely different sports.
"Feel vs. Real" is a swimmer's biggest enemy.
You feel like your arm is high and wide, but it’s actually crossing your midline.
You feel like your legs are tight, but they’re out there acting like a boat rudder.
Without a coach on the side to bridge that gap, you’re just reinforcing a "feeling" that isn't actually helping.
I’ve spent over 15 years and 3,000+ lessons helping swimmers align their "feel" with the "real" mechanics that produce speed.
Let’s get your stroke looking less like a struggle and more like the pro version you’ve got in your head.

Remember, I only coach on Wednesday, so times are limited. Plan in advance to get the times you want.

𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. 🏊♂️
In the same lane, under the same lights, I heard two very different stories last week:
✨ "I can’t believe I swam a length in 3 lessons!"
📉 "I can’t believe I still can’t swim a length..." (5 lessons in).
On the surface, it looks like a gap in progress. In reality, it’s a masterclass in how individual journeys work.
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆:
Competence is Not a Sprint: We forget the "invisible years" behind ease. Mastery is about an accumulation of triggers, one person’s "aha!" moment happens at lesson 3, another's at lesson 10. 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝘃𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸: Coaching provides the roadmap, but the heavy lifting happens in the "quiet hours"—those solo sessions where you struggle with the water alone.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁: After decades as a swimmer and coach, I don't panic if you aren't "proficient" by lesson five. Your body is simply still collecting the data it needs to succeed.
𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟱. Self-mastery isn’t about how fast you reach the wall; it’s about the resilience you build by showing up when it's hard.
Keep putting in the work. The rewards follow persistence, not a schedule.
𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹.
