The Scheme provides a standard, sustainable, and credible waste management solution to the ready mix concrete and construction industries. The aim of the scheme is to repurpose waste and surplus concrete in its uncured (wet) state. By doing this Envirocon removes the need to use the current environmentally damaging and resource intensive waste management processes. Instead, Envirocon creates susta

What does the circular economy look like in action? ♻️

At Envirocon, it starts with a challenge—excess concrete waste—and turns it into a continuous, practical loop:

Recover → Repurpose → Rebuild → Reuse

Through our product stewardship approach, surplus concrete is transformed into Interbloc, Interbloc+, and Stonebloc, used in strong modular structures, and then bought back for reuse, keeping materials in circulation and out of landfill.

With over 300,000 tonnes of concrete waste generated in New Zealand each year, solutions like this aren’t optional, they’re essential.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of WasteMINZ 2026, working alongside industry to drive real progress toward a more sustainable, circular future.

Come talk to us about how it all connects.

What is WasteMINZ and why does it matter? ♻️

WasteMINZ is New Zealand’s largest event for the waste, resource recovery, and contaminated land sectors, bringing together industry leaders to collaborate, share ideas, and drive real impact.

That’s exactly why Envirocon is proud to be part of it.

With over 300,000 tonnes of concrete waste generated in New Zealand each year, we’re focused on turning that challenge into an opportunity, transforming surplus concrete into high-quality precast blocks through our product stewardship approach.

For us, WasteMINZ is about more than exhibiting, it’s about contributing to the circular economy, connecting with others in the industry, and working together toward practical, scalable solutions.

Come and talk to us about how we’re helping reduce waste and build a more sustainable future.
