Handmade was great fun today. I had two leather workshops, which went great. Here's the ladies from the Leather Craft Party who crafted their hearts out ☺️
Just a couple of sleeps until Handmade! I've been super-busy getting ready for my 4 classes: Leather Craft Party, Leather Key Wallet, Sew a Shoulder Bag and Get the perfect fit for your jeans.

I've just seen I'm on the Felt front page! Promoting a market I don't have any connection to, but still! I've also just listed my Hoop Wall Art fabric panels for sale. Previously they were only available in the kits, but to save on postage, you can now buy the fabric separately. Available on Felt: http://felt.co.nz/listing/226041/Fabric-panel-single and Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nz/listing/207782167/fabric-panel-single

Hi there everyone! Ruby in the Dust checking in. I feel the status update's prompt is quite accusing: 'What have you been up to?'
Well, the renovation is mostly over, for one. I have a lovely new kitchen and bathroom, and am in seventh heaven. I have also increased my adult literacy teaching hours, so haven't had so much time for crafting. Never fear though, because I have been weaving and dyeing up a storm.
I find Instagram so easy for sneaking in photos when I'm on the go, so follow me there if you like (find the link in comments). Here's a photo of my lovely freshly-tiled kitchen :)
I had such a great time on Saturday at the Auckland Art & Craft Fair; who went? Congratulations to Elizabeth Berge from ZippityDooDah- handmade wonders, who won the Best Stall award!

It's all go in my studio today as I get ready for Saturday's Auckland Art & Craft Fair. Can't wait; it's always such an exciting and busy day. 11 to 3 at the Aotea Centre; see you there!

I spent some time today making pouches for the upcoming Auckland Art & Craft Fair. It probably tells you a bit too much about my life at the moment when I say that using a brand new rotary cutter blade was one of the highlights of my day!!
I had a wonderful time at Handmade this weekend; thank you to everyone who joined me for a workshop or stopped for a chat!
