Astronz started trading in 2001 with the intention of importing & selling direct astronomical equipment into New Zealand to meet the requirements of keen astronomers. The company is fully owned by the Auckland Astronomical Society and operated by volunteers who are all also active members of the society. We are all passionate about astronomy and regularly use telescopes for observing the night sky, including the ones we sell. This means we know what we are talking about when it comes to telescopes. Astronz has supported astronomy throughout New Zealand for over 15 years and continues to invest back into the astronomical community nationwide.
