Last night felt like the perfect culmination of our time here at Cap Karoso.

What began weeks ago as conversations, sketches, ideas and shared inspiration slowly evolved into The Art Of Taste — an immersive evening where food, art and storytelling came together beneath one roof. To see our Sumba-inspired residency collection sitting within the beautiful atmosphere of Cap Karoso’s Julang Restaurant, accompanied by Jules Letteron’s thoughtful and deeply expressive menu, was everything we had hoped for and more.

One of the most special parts of the evening was the sense of connection in the room — guests gathering around the work, sharing stories, asking questions, lingering over beautiful food and conversation. It reminded us that art is at its most powerful when it creates space for people to come together.

A huge thank you to Jules for so intuitively helping bring this vision to life through his incredible cuisine and creative openness, and to the wonderful Arnold, whose generosity, support and calm presence helped carry us through every part of this residency journey.

And finally to Cap Karoso — thank you for creating a place where creativity, culture and meaningful exchange can truly flourish. We leave this island feeling deeply inspired, incredibly grateful, and forever changed by the experience.
