ACC Payment Increase Starts Today – 1 July 2026
Good news for eligible New Zealanders receiving ACC support.
From today (1 July 2026), people who have been receiving weekly ACC compensation for more than 26 weeks will see their payments increase by 1.97%. The maximum weekly compensation payable (before tax) is now $2,466.20 per week.
No action is needed – eligible payment adjustments are applied automatically.
This increase is part of ACC’s annual payment review to help keep payments aligned with changes in living costs and economic conditions.
