After working in the building industry in both New Zealand and abroad, Dave returned home to complete a NZCAD at Unitec, graduating in 1995. We have learned this week that the proposed renovations of the Long Bay Restaurant have been abandoned indefinitely due to the discovery of Moari bones and artifacts. Its sad news for all concerned as many years of work, by all parties concerned, have been undertaken to try and achieve an upgrade to the existing building that did justice to the original and also the amazing locations. Some images of what could have been. Was looking forward to a meal on the deck looking over that view.

Building complete, landscaping maybe not so complete.
Interiors still have a bit of work but time and family will help to add to that.
All ready for a well earned Xmas break.
