A lot has been happening at Salty Manor lately; First we played a sellout gig up at the un-matchachable location of Ahipara, Ninety Mile Beach for a local fishing competition prize giving night.

Then of course we played at the wedding reception of our great friends and Salty Dogs fans Greg and Jules in Whangaparaoa.

So it is with glad hearts we can announce we are coming back to do a public show at Mainsail Bar & Bistro on the 28th March and we'd love to see everyone there.

As everyone knows Lucky and the Mainsail Bar & Bistro crew are the best in show for music, food, hospitality and ofc this venue is a long time supporter of the Salty Dogs and we cannot thank the team enough for always thinking of us when they want to host a great night of rollicking music and dancing.

So once again, put on the gladrags and get yer boogie-minded selves down to Luckys on Saturday 28th March for the End of Summer party where we would love to sing n dance the night away with you all!!!

Hi All

We are playing away at private gigs this next two weekends-fantastic.

We hope you are all having/had a wonderful summer and to say we would love to see everybody at Luckys๐Ÿ€ a.k.a Mainsail Bar & Bistro on 28 March!

The band canโ€™t wait to come and reconnect with everyone and we hope yโ€™all can join us in what should be an awesome night out for partying the evening away.

Lots of new songs added along with all your favourites. No spoilers but wasnโ€™t the Eighties a great decade for music? ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜‰

Once again thanks to everyone for their ongoing support and I think all local people will agree what an amazing job our host Lucky ๐Ÿ€ has done of making this such an amazing local venue for eats, drinks and music ๐ŸŽต

Looking forward to this one

More private shows are upcoming in Feb. We will be looking at playing one of our favourite venues Mainsail towards the end of March and we'll put it up nearer the time,

Thanks for looking in and keep rockin'!

Merch!

Wait, what? Yes a nice Salty Dogs mug is available to purchase, if you would like one just request how many you want via [email protected] and we can put in an order for you. It seems they are about $22 plus pnp.

It's not a profit thing for us, but it's just a nice looking item for our followers to place proudly on their work-spaces and pretend they are drinking tea out of at zoom meetings when really its full of whiskey. The trick its to leave a tea-bag tag hanging out the top of it and your boss will never know you're on the turps during your online meeting. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

A quite simply magic night was had Ripples cafe on Saturday night. Thanks so much to Harry and the team for hosting and working so hard to set the venue up for all the attendees with a special marquee and tables for the Al Fresco shenanigans! And special thanks to everyone who came and partied the noight away with us x

Although today is actually St Pats night we all find Monday a bit hard to get up for so having it in the Saturday was epic!

We have a lot of bookings inquiries to work through following the gig as so many people asking us for private functions so thanks to all who asked; promise our biz cards are arriving soon from the printers haha ๐Ÿ˜›

Just a wee heads up to anyone else wanting to book us; we would love to hear from you to see how we can help make your party go off with a bang, however we are real human beings and a full on live band, and for the month of April one of us will be overseas, and trying to replace talented musicians with machines is not our bag.

Therefore unless anybody is after a very quick quote for a short notice event in March, we are only taking any new bookings from May onwards, but please do get in touch- we arenโ€™t at all scary and itโ€™s only our drummer ๐Ÿฅ who bites!!

PS who was that mystery Leprechaun ๐Ÿ€ who turned up and took over the mic ๐ŸŽค for the Beatles set? I think we all know really donโ€™t we? Cheers to ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช โ€œIrishโ€ Glenn Taylor for his vibe and funny wig (was it a wig?!?!?!?)
