Whānau Fun at Opanuku Stream – Conservation Hīkoi

Join our team from next week for a family-friendly conservation hīkoi to explore beautiful Opanuku stream & walkway, learn about native ecosystems & find out how we can all be awesome kaiawhina (advocates) of the whenua.

Walk the land, spot invasive species & learn how to protect our natural taonga (treasures) all while having fun outdoors with whānau and friends. Perfect for curious kids, nature lovers & anyone keen to make a difference!

When: Thursday 9th April, 10am-12 noon

Our friends at MPHS Community Trust and Community Waitākere have organised a Great Henderson Adventure Race and it looks like loads of fun 🤩 on the Project Twin Streams cycle path through Henderson Park. You can walk🚶🏽cycle 🚲 run 🏃‍♀️or even scooter 🛴! Why not join them on the 20th?
