It Summer Time ☀️
Whānau today is our last day open for 2025! We are shutting up for the team to go out and enjoy the holidays!
A massive thank you to everyone who has stopped in, had a catch up with us, we’re blessed with the best coffee in the neighbourhood and shared enough laughter, tbh we have gotten louder cause of ya’ll ❤️
Keeping it short and sweet! We will be back open on the 12th of January ✌️ for the time being you can catch Jase & Matt at Jellicoe Pools in Onehunga, serving up outdoor pool party vibes! So come by and hang out in the sun with us ☀️
Love you all, have a great holiday with the whānau and we’ll catch you in the new year!

✨ MEET THE LIL CUZZIES WHĀNAU ✨
If you’ve been through our doors, you’ve definitely been served a coffee with a side of cheekiness, aroha, and a contagious laugh to top it all off😂
JJ – Our Head Cuzzie 👑
You’ll hear him before you see him. His contagious personality and positive energy will keep a smile on your face whenever in his presence
Trini – The Biggest & The Baddest: 💯
She’s the OG Westie from day 1 of Lil Cuzzies! T is loud, loving and most of all about the laughs. Got something funny to share, she’s got your back. Amazing with the kiddies, she’ll feed them till there rolling to bed!
Kiani – The Contagious Laughter 🤣
hailing from Southside! Known for her laugh that echoes through the café, she definitely will lift your wairua. Need someone to talk to she’s always down for a DMC!
We’re proud of our whānau — the ones making your mornings brighter, your kai warmer, and your day just that little bit better.
Now tell us Cuzzies!
👉 Who makes your coffee the best?
👉 Which Cuzzie cracks you up the most?
👉 And who’s got the best laugh in the café?
Drop your answers (and any inside jokes 👀) in the comments — we’ll be reading them all! Love you ❤️

✨ Matariki – A Time to Reflect, Remember and Reawaken
As Matariki rises, we are reminded of the power of connection — to our whānau, to our whenua, and to those who came before us.
“Matariki hunga nui, Matariki of many people” – a time to honour those who have passed, celebrate the present, and plant intentions for the year ahead.
Matariki marks the Māori New Year. It’s a sacred moment for reflection, remembrance, and renewal. As the stars return, so too does our opportunity to realign with our values, give gratitude, and look to the future with hope.
“Ngā whetū o te tau hou Māori”
“The stars of the Māori new year”
They guide us, they remind us, and they call us to come together in unity.
Let’s celebrate Matariki with aroha, kai, kōrero, and with purpose.
What are you letting go of this Matariki?
What are you planting for the year ahead?

🌿 New at Lil Cuzzies! Welcome !🌿

We’re excited to welcome Waikirikau to our Lil Cuzzies whānau! 🎉 Waikirikau handcrafted probiotic drinks are made with native botanicals and packed with goodness for your hauora (wellbeing).

Handcrafted in Aotearoa. These beverages bring the power of rongoā Māori and wildcrafted ingredients into every sip.

Waikirikau’s drinks fit right in with our feel-good, wellness-focused vibe—nourishing from the inside out.

✨ Kawakawa Kaha – A bold, energising brew featuring kawakawa, hibiscus flower, fresh turmeric, ginger & lemon to uplift and support digestion.
✨ Ngā Taonga a Papatūānuku – The name reflects this drink as a gift from our Earth Mother. Each bottle has over fifteen native plants (including Kumarahou & Kawa Kawa), herbs, fruits & spices infused together reminding us in every sip that goodness grows all around us.
✨ Ha Raumati (Har-Raw-Mart-Tee) – A lighter, more refreshing option in the range. Fresh cucumber, juniper, lime & ginger blended with wild-harvested mānuka from the banks of the Tairua River. Perfect for summer.

Come in, try them out, and feel the mātauranga (traditional māori knowledge & cultural practices) in every drop! 💛
