Waterlog no.7 is part of an ongoing series of work responding to the way human interactions affect water quality.

Glass can be liquid or solid, a shape-shifting material, sharing qualities similar to water when heated. Here, the glass is controlled and chaotic, reactions that occurred during its molten and fluid state —shallow, fast-flowing.

Starting off this year with a bang, we welcome you to join us for our Small Works Art Prize, now open!

Celebrating creativity on an intimate scale, this prize showcases both emerging and established artists from across Australia and beyond, with just shy of 1100 artworks on display, each no larger than 35x35x35cm.

Every artistic medium imaginable is on display, including painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, weaving... and more! The Small Works Art Prize is celebrated for its inclusivity, energy, and community spirit, offering artists a unique platform to connect with collectors and curators, share their work with thousands of visitors, and be part of an immersive exhibition that proves small art can have a truly big impact.

So come and visit us from today, as we open our doors for another Small Works Art Prize!
