Exciting news for New Zealand’s meetings and incentives landscape: Marriott International has announced that the globally recognised luxury brand St. Regis will make its New Zealand debut in Queenstown, with the hotel expected to open in late 2027.

The new St. Regis Queenstown will feature approximately 145 rooms with views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables, alongside signature brand hallmarks including exceptional dining, elegant event spaces, and the renowned St. Regis Butler Service.

This marks another step in the continued evolution of Queenstown as a world-class destination for business events and luxury travel.

“We’re thrilled to soon establish the iconic St. Regis brand in such an exceptional destination,” said Richard Crawford, Marriott’s Vice President – Hotel Development, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific.
