To celebrate, we’re bringing out two French favourites for one day only. Our handcrafted macarons and classic éclairs will be available in the cabinet this TOMORROW (Tuesday 14th) only.

We’re open tomorrow for Matariki with slightly reduced hours.

Open 8am–3pm for coffee, pastries, fresh bread, and something good from the cabinet.

Meet Louis, Copain’s Head Baker.

Originally from the north of France, Louis brings more than 10 years of baking experience to the bench. Since making the move to New Zealand, he’s continued to hone his craft, producing beautifully traditional breads, exceptional sourdough, and what many would argue is one of Auckland’s finest sourdough baguettes.

Passionate about doing things the proper way, Louis believes the best bread comes from simple ingredients, patience, and a whole lot of care.

We’re incredibly proud to have him leading our team of bakers, shaping not just the bread, but the standard of everything we do here at Copain.
