Howick Pistol Club

There are seven basic rules of firearm safety.

Rule 1 Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2 Always point fi****ms in a safe direction
Rule 3 Chamber a cartridge only when ready to fire
Rule 4 Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5 Check your firing zone
Rule 6 Store and transport fi****ms and ammunition safely
Rule 7 Avoid alcohol or drugs when handling fi****ms

For the Pistol Club shooting, there are some extra cautions in the club.

1 Only put your finger in the trigger guide when you point the target and ready to shoot.
2 Follow your Range Officer's command all the time.
3 No joke for any target or behavior relating to shooting someone or something - it is NOT funny.
4 No ammo handling in the safety zone.
