International Women’s Day

I started the day running Round the Bays with an epic group of women of all ages.

Different backgrounds, different stories, different stages of life — but all showing up, supporting each other and pushing forward.

Being a woman means many things at once.

Building careers and businesses.
Raising children.
Supporting families.
Showing up for friends, communities, and causes we care about.

Often all at the same time.
Running a business has also given me the chance to meet so many incredible women — founders, creators, mothers, leaders — women who are building things, challenging norms, and quietly moving the world forward.

But days like today are also a reminder that the reality for many women is still very different.

Across the world, millions of women still don’t have access to basic rights — education, safety, healthcare, financial independence, or the freedom to make decisions about their own lives.

So while today is a moment to celebrate women, it’s also a reminder that there is still a lot of work to do.

To keep pushing for fairness.
To keep supporting each other.
And to keep building a world where the next generation of girls grows up with more opportunities than the one before.

Especially our daughters.

Running a business is hard.
Running a sustainable business is even harder.
