We are seeking an experienced Instructor.

This position offers:

Your role will include Instructing delegates in Marine Safety courses to international standards.

Key responsibilities are:

Facilitating courses and caring for our delegates in a safe and professional manner.
Maintain our training quality.
Managing training resources including the maintenance of our equipment and facility.

Skills required:

Experience in a training environment.
Have achieved, at a minimum, a National Certificate in Adult Education, level 4.
Have the ability to work and maintain training simulation equipment.
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
You must be able to peer assess and moderate.
Be a team player, with the ability to communicate clearly.
Be self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
And be willing to learn new subjects and skills.

Further aspects required for this role are:

Be willing to undertake pre-employment testing and screening.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
