The Creative Studio

Hello my lovelies here is a recipe for homemade sourdough crumpets.
I make these all the time and they are great to make and freeze. You only need to put them in the toaster then.

Ingredients.
1 cup of starter
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions.
Place starter in a medium bowl (not metal). Sprinkle the sugar, salt and baking powder over the surface. then mix with wooden spoon.
Heat frying pan on medium heat. Grease rings. 1/4 fill then with mixture. Turn heat down and cook till the bubbles burst and the sides are cooking. Take rings off and flip over to cook for a minute or two. They do not take long from this point.
You can use the starter straight from the fridge. Eat or freeze.
Try marmite and cheese, honey or just good finger lickin butter.

Heaps has happened since the last time I wrote on here so I will give you the short version.
Went through a rough patch of moving away and coming back home. Hit the depression with really black moments and have come through that with my adorable hubby. Set up a new business together and I started running workshops.

Wow I hear you all say and a huge sign of relieve that I am not writing heaps.

Our business together is Wash Rite West Coast - External cleaning company.
Workshops running at the moment "Basic Sourdough".

So I will be putting up posts on sourdough and the recipes I have tried and want to try.

Hello my lovelies, long time no chat.
Well things have definitely been a roller coaster for me over the last year. Some good and a lot not so good, but hey things are on the up and a new adventure for our family is just about to begin. This doesn't mean an end to this page, more of a beginning of a new direction. I will need to show you my creations on the artistic side and I want to share insights into many things. Personal and crafty wise. So stay with me and come along for the journey, who knows it may just lead you to your own new adventure. Here is my other news:

Hello my lovelies,
Long time no chat. The move went ok but I have been finding it hard to adjust to being the newbie in town. I am such a social butterfly; as my daughter Stacey tells me, I have struggled with the loneliness. However I did go along to the local Ashburton Art Museum and joined some 20 others in Adult Colouring in. It was nice to be around like-minded creative people. Plus I got cake.

So I have missed my little corner of paradise and all those I have had the pleasure of reaching. but will make 2016 a successful year. The jury is still out as to what capacity The Creative Studio will take however, I will keep you posted. I have some ideas in my head and I just need to think them through a bit more.

In the meantime I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Take care of your selves, those around you and remember BE CREATIVE in any shape or form.
