Please be advised that despite cargo space being booked and confirmed several weeks in advance, Air NZ flight NZ936 on 19th/20th December was overbooked.
As a result, chilled fruits and vegies intended for Christmas lunch were offloaded and have now been wait-listed for the 27th December 2025 flight.
We understand the inconvenience and disappointment this causes, particularly during the festive season when demand is at its highest for local residents and visiting friends and relatives.
The removal of the second weekly flight during the busiest period of the year has directly resulted in a significant constraint on cargo capacity.
