The idea for CCDP (before known as CDP) was informally proposed in 1998 and was formally established in 1999. Since that time, the project has been expanded from the city of Pokhara to the surrounding countryside. CCDP is funded by gifts and donations from churches, organizations and individuals from within Nepal as well as abroad and welcomes contributions in any amount. CCDP has a children home
