The historic Tengboche Monastery was founded in 1916 by Lama Gulu, tracing its spiritual roots back to Tibet’s Rongbuk Monastery. Though it was tragically damaged by the 1934 earthquake and a devastating fire in 1989, it was grandly rebuilt to its original artistic glory, thanks to the support of the Sherpa community and well-wishers worldwide. 🙏❤️
