I grew up listening to her, learning from her, being in awe of her effortless versatility… The way she could make every note feel alive, every emotion feel personal. From the most playful melodies to the deepest ghazals to her extraordinary virtuosity in her songs in Marathi, Bangla and innumerable languages, she did it all, like only she could.
For so many of us, she wasn’t just an inspiration… she was a part of our musical soul.
Her voice will echo through time, through every artist she inspired, through every heart she touched.

उहाँको मधुर र जादुमय आवाजले पुस्तौँलाई जोड्यो, प्रत्येक मुटुलाई छोयो र संगीतलाई नयाँ उचाइमा पुर्‍यायो। आज उहाँ हाम्रो बीचमा नभए पनि, उहाँले गाएका गीतहरू सधैं हाम्रो हृदयमा जीवित रहनेछन्।
मेरो लागि यो जीवनकै सबैभन्दा ठूलो सम्मान हो कि मलाई, Bimal Sah, Sinamangal-9, Kathamandu, Nepal लाई, उहाँका लागि हार्मोनियम ट्युनिङ गर्ने अवसर प्राप्त भयो र उहाँले लेखेर पनि दिनुभएको छ, मैले उहाँको हारमोनियमको ट्यूनिंग मर्मत गरेको थिएँ, उहाँको विश्वास, माया र आशीर्वाद सधैं मेरो प्रेरणाको स्रोत रहनेछ।
उहाँसँग जोडिएका यी सम्झनाहरू मेरो जीवनका सबैभन्दा अमूल्य धरोहरहरू हुन्, जसलाई म सधैं हृदयमा सँगालेर राख्नेछु।
