Skills and qualifications
Experience with network and system efficiency to implement network solutions
✔️Understanding of how to install and configure network equipment
✔️Ability to communicate with people with various levels of technical knowledge
✔️Diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems and find solutions
✔️Proficiency in computers, software and database systems
✔️Critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
✔️Dexterity when handling manual repairs and tests
Duties and responsibilities
✔️Designing and installing computer networks, connections and cabling
✔️Troubleshooting system failures and identifying roadblocks in the network
✔️Fixing problems in LAN infrastructure and testing and configuring software
✔️Maintaining and repairing hardware including peripheral devices
✔️Evaluating network performance to improve the network
✔️Scheduling upgrades and maintenance without interrupting business workflow
✔️Providing technical direction and giving training to coworkers about network systems
✔️Working with vendors to get needed equipment for the networks and systems
Salary: Negotiable (No bar for highly desirable candidate)
