जब नक्साले बन्दुकभन्दा ठूलो आवाज गर्छ

राष्ट्रका सीमाना भावनाबाट होइन,
नारा र आक्रोशबाट होइन,
इतिहास, सन्धि र प्रमाणित तथ्यबाट तय हुन्छन्।

नेपालको नक्सा संशोधन कुनै आकस्मिक वा उत्तेजक कदम होइन। यो १८१६ को सुगौली सन्धिमा आधारित संवैधानिक दाबी हो। उक्त सन्धिअनुसार काली (महाकाली) नदी नेपालको पश्चिमी सीमा हो। अझ महत्वपूर्ण कुरा—ब्रिटिश शासनकालमा तयार पारिएका नक्साहरूले काली नदीको मुहान लिम्पियाधुरा नै हो भन्ने स्पष्ट देखाउँछन्। त्यसैले कालापानी, लिपुलेख र लिम्पियाधुरा नेपालकै भूभाग पर्छन्।

यस तथ्यको अर्को महत्वपूर्ण पक्ष के हो भने—ब्रिटिश शासन अन्त्य भएपछि नेपाल र भारतबीच कुनै युद्ध भएको छैन। न त कुनै नयाँ सन्धि भएको छ, न त कुनै द्विपक्षीय सम्झौताले यो भूभाग भारतलाई हस्तान्तरण गरेको छ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय अभ्यासमा, युद्ध वा पारस्परिक सहमतिबिना सिमाना परिवर्तन हुँदैन। यहाँ यी दुवै अवस्था कहिल्यै भएका छैनन्।

यसैले यो विषय भावनात्मक होइन।
यो कानुनी हो।
यो ऐतिहासिक हो।
र यसले बौद्धिक इमानदारी माग गर्छ।

समाधान: इतिहासलाई निर्णायक मान्नुपर्छ

भारतले आफ्नै उपनिवेशकालीन अभिलेख र नक्सालाई स्वीकार गर्नुपर्छ।
ब्रिटिशकालीन नक्साहरू—जब भारत स्वयं ब्रिटिश शासनअन्तर्गत थियो—ले यो भूभाग नेपालकै हो भनेर देखाएका छन्। यदि ती नक्साहरू भारतका अन्य सीमाहरू निर्धारण गर्न पर्याप्त छन् भने, यहाँ पनि तिनै नक्सा प्रमाण हुनुपर्छ।

यसलाई स्वीकार गर्नु भारतको कमजोरी होइन।
यो नैतिक बल हो।

ऐतिहासिक त्रुटिको शान्तिपूर्ण सुधारले दक्षिण एशियामा एउटा सशक्त सन्देश दिन्छ—
कि सत्य बलभन्दा माथि हुन्छ।

नेपाल टकराव खोजिरहेको छैन।
नेपाल सत्यको मान्यता खोजिरहेको छ।

सीमाभन्दा पर: अहंकार होइन, शान्तिको छनोट

नेपाल र भारत केवल छिमेकी होइनन्।
हामी सभ्यता, संस्कृति, धर्म, सम्बन्ध र खुला सीमाले जोडिएका छौँ। दुई राष्ट्रबीच कहिल्यै युद्ध नभएको इतिहास छ। त्यसैले एउटा नक्साको विवादले दीर्घकालीन अविश्वास जन्माउनु हुँदैन।

नक्साले इतिहासलाई न्यायसँग जोड्नुपर्छ—
दबाब वा मौनताको औजार बन्नु हुँदैन।

Astitwa मा हामी विश्वास गर्छौँ—
सम्मानको सुरुवात तथ्य स्वीकारबाट हुन्छ,
र संवादको सुरुवात सत्यको आदरबाट।

सीमाले राज्य चिनाउँछ,
आदरले छिमेकी बनाउँछ।

Note : इतिहासले देखाउँछ—नेपाल साना–साना राज्यबाट एकीकृत भई ब्रिटिश नक्सामै पहिचान पाएको सार्वभौम राष्ट्र थियो, जब भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप अझै उपनिवेशकालीन प्रशासनअन्तर्गत थियो।

Astitwa: Then and Now

Astitwa began as a quiet space for women — a space where silence was acknowledged, stories were held gently, and courage often spoke from the back, not because voices were weak, but because society made turning around difficult.
The earlier logo reflected that phase: a woman seen from behind, representing countless women who carried questions, pain, strength, and truth within them, waiting for a moment when it would be safe to speak.

That phase mattered. It still does.
Because without listening to those silenced voices, Astitwa would never have learned what breaking taboos truly means.

Today, Astitwa evolves.

The new logo speaks a different visual language — bold black, disruptive red, and a form that does not ask for permission. It represents the act of breaking through: confronting taboos, challenging silence, and opening conversations that society often avoids. The red is not aggression; it is courage. The black is not darkness; it is clarity. Together, they symbolize impact — intentional, unapologetic, and inclusive.

Astitwa is no longer only about women.
It is about everyone who has been told to stay quiet, everyone whose truth was made uncomfortable, everyone who has felt that their identity, pain, or questions did not belong in public conversation.

What remains unchanged is the core belief:
Taboos lose power when we talk about them.
Silence breaks when we choose openness.
Identity strengthens when it is acknowledged.

This new logo does not replace the old one — it stands on its foundation.
It marks growth, not departure.

Astitwa continues — broader, braver, and more determined —
a space where voices don’t turn away anymore,
they step forward.
