🌍 We’re Hiring! GIS/Mapping Support (Short-Term) 🌍
Are you skilled in GIS, mapping, and spatial data analysis? Join our research project on Gender Equality, Livelihoods, and Climate Resilience in Godavari Municipality as a short-term GIS/Mapping Support!
📌 Project: Mainstreaming GESI & Sustainable Livelihood Approaches (SLA) for Urban Climate Resilience
📍 Location: Godavari Municipality, Lalitpur District
📅 Duration: December 2025 – February 2026 (approx. 10–12 working days, task-based)
🔑 Responsibilities
✅ Process GPS and survey data into maps.
✅ Support Participatory GIS (PGIS) sessions and digitize community maps.
✅ Prepare thematic maps on climate hazards, livelihoods, and vulnerable groups.
✅ Provide spatial analysis and visual outputs for reports and workshops.
🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelor’s (or ongoing) in Geography, GIS/RS, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in QGIS/ArcGIS required.
• Experience in participatory/community mapping preferred.
• Good communication in Nepali; local languages an asset.
💰 Remuneration: Daily allowance or lump-sum (as per project budget).
