URGENTLY REQUIRED-INTERNATIONAL SAFEGUARD EXPERT

Station: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
International Social Safeguard Specialist (6 person months)

Qualifications:
(i) Graduate study related to social safeguards topics (social sciences, survey, social impact assessment or relevant discipline) with 15 years general working experience mostly related to involuntary resettlement, indigenous peoples safeguards preferably in the region.

Experiences :
(i) 10 years of project-related experience in different multilateral infrastructure projects of different executing ministries *preferably in Cambodia* of which ADB (and WB, or others) as financing agency.
(ii) An in-depth knowledge for due diligence and social safeguards requirements as detailed in the ADB SPS.
(iii) Demonstrated experience of successful implementation of SSG components of projects during both preparation and implementation phases and working closely with design engineers and construction supervision engineers.
