Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold nearly half a million copies on its first day on sale in the US alone. The game sold over 459,000 physical and digital sales in the US. According to Nintendo that's about a 45% attach rate, or very nearly 1 copy for every 2 Switch consoles out there.
