eaven on this earth naming “Swarga Children's Home (SCH) where children with disabilities (CWDs) live by themselves. They are accepted in the way they are and motivate, encourage to become more self dependent through social and medical rehabilitation. We established this in 2006 with following the concept of Residential Based Rehabilitation (IBR) for the children with disabilities to make them self dependent. As per wishing objective of the foundation the home is protecting 23 children from different parts of the country. Among them Six are having burning amputation, Nine are cerebral palsy, Six from spina bifida and one with sacal syndrome and two with metabolic disease. As we can’t help everyone and has to make a choice which was not easy for us to make a decision that we help maximum 30 CWDs only though there are two percent of population of PWDs in Nepal. “We believe in Quality than quantity” and we want to establish it as one of a model home for CWDs with IBR concept so that likeminded organization can also follow and develop in other part of the country. We are always willing to share our knowledge and experience with you in the protection, promotion and for welfare of PWDs.
