The ARD team, accompanied by AEIN Nepal Country Director Mr. Ramesh Twayana and Project Manager from AEIN Luxembourg, Mr. Roberto Baldanza, recently carried out a field visit and monitoring in Aamachhodingmo Rural Municipality, Rasuwa, and Bethanchowk Rural Municipality, Kavrepalanchowk from 5 to 8 May 2026. ARD heartily thank Mr. Roberto for his time. The visit highlighted the inspiring progress being made through community-driven initiatives focused on uplifting livelihood and raising strength of marginalized and vulnerable group through sustainable agriculture, cooperative strengthening, and inclusive local development. Engaging directly with women farmers, teachers, students, and community members, the team witnessed how the programs are creating meaningful change in people’s daily lives.

मिति २०८३/०१/१६ गते, ग्रामीण विकास संस्थाद्वारा AEIN - Aide à l'Enfance de l'Inde et du Népal को आर्थिक सहयोगमा सञ्चालन भइरहेको जलवायु अनुकूलन नमुना गाउँ कार्यक्रम–दोस्रो चरण अन्तर्गत बेथानचोक गाउँपालिका वडा नं. २ को पाट्नेखोला र वडा नं. ३ को गोर्खाली गाउँलाई जलवायु अनुकुलित नमुना गाउँ घोषणा गरिएको छ, साथै ५०% अनुदानमा विधुतीय इन्डक्सन चुलो वितरण कार्यक्रम गरियो।

On April 29th, 2026, under the Climate-resilient Smart Village Program – Phase II, implemented by the Association for Rural Development Organization with financial support from , were declared climate-resilient smart villages at Ward No.2, Patnekhola and Ward No. 3, Gorkhali Gau of Bethanchowk Rural Municipality. On the same time, an electric induction cookstove distribution program was carried out, providing households with the stoves at a 50% subsidy to promote clean and sustainable energy use.
