A lounge chair with an integrated worktop - somewhere to sit, read or work, wherever you set it down. Designed as a single continuous form, so the worktop reads as part of the chair rather than something added to it.

For 3daysofdesign, Offecct marked its 25th anniversary by showing original chairs from 2000 - refurbished rather than replaced. The same pieces, renewed.

25 unique chairs in different fabrics have been made, one for each year of its history.

A lovely thing to come across at Designmuseum Danmark: Spiegel Panels by Verner Panton for Offecct, installed across the ceiling as part of the exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Panton's birth.

Panton designed them in 1969 for one of his most influential works - the Der Spiegel building in Hamburg - pyramid-shaped acoustic panels that absorb sound while giving a space its own architectural character.

Flokk brand OFFECCT, has this year reissued them in collaboration with the Panton family, true to the original, with updated sustainability and sound absorption qualities.

Used in the FORMAT Café at the Design Museum, they create a dramatic impact on the character of the space, just as Panton intended.

If you're in Copenhagen, the exhibition is well worth a visit - open all year long.

HÅG isn't the only Flokk brand at NeoCon.

Five brands. One building. Stylex, 9to5 Seating, Via Seating, Spec Furniture , and HÅG all have permanent showrooms within THE MART, and all four are open for NeoCon Shows this week.
