💬 Enrique Hernández and his team are on an ambitious mission to save time, money and lives in hospitals worldwide. With their innovative solution, SeptiBell, the Barcelona-based startup Loop Diagnostics aims at tackling the issue of early sepsis diagnosis. Together with their Dutch partners RAOULJANSEN and also Barcelona-based ColorSensing, their have been working on this ambitious goal.

🔜 After DIGI-B-CUBE funding, Loop Diagnostics and their partners are moving to an industrialisation phase and a seeding round. Their next big milestone for 2022 is to receive a CE mark certification to bring their innovation technology to the market start selling SeptiBell to hospitals.

💡 You are certainly familiar with Sophia E. Shanko, PhD, the founder of ShanX Medtech BV and one of the DIGI-B-CUBE beneficiaries we had the pleasure of seeing again at the 2022 Health Valley Event in Nijmegen.

💬 We had the chance to talk to Sophia about her innovation and her ambition to help diagnosing infections more accurately and subsequently determining an effective antibiotic therapy - this is a very powerful one, that relates to Sophia's work.
