📊 Strong social enterprise ecosystems are built on evidence, not assumptions.
Across Europe, policymakers, support organisations, investors, and ecosystem builders need reliable insights to understand how social entrepreneurship is evolving, where progress is being made, and where further support is needed.

That's why the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) matters.

By contributing to the survey, you help create one of the most important sources of data on social enterprise development in Europe, informing policies, investment decisions, support programmes, and ecosystem-building efforts at both national and European levels.

Your insights help paint a clearer picture of the challenges, opportunities, and trends shaping the future of social entrepreneurship, ensuring that support reaches where it can create the greatest impact.

📝 Take part in the ESEM survey today and help strengthen the evidence base for a more resilient, inclusive, and impactful social economy across Europe: https://euclidnetwork.eu/2026/03/giving-impact-driven-entrepreneurs-a-voice-at-national-and-european-levels/

✨ Spotlight on Impact: Julie Murat

As part of our series celebrating the inspiring women who participated in the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise AI Training, we are proud to highlight leaders who are working to make entrepreneurship more inclusive, accessible, and impactful around the world.

Meet Julie Murat: Co-founder & Head of Programs and Ecosystem Relations at Bridge for Billions

💡At just 23 years old, she co-founded Bridge for Billions alongside a group of fellow changemakers with a clear mission: to equalise access to entrepreneurship globally and build more inclusive and diverse entrepreneurial ecosystems.

🌟 Since its founding, Bridge for Billions has grown from a team of four to more than fifty people, supporting over 5,000 entrepreneurs from 132 countries through more than 200 entrepreneurship programmes delivered in partnership with organisations including UN Environment Programme, Ashoka, and Visa.

🤝 Beyond her work at Bridge for Billions, Julie is a coach, facilitator, and active member of the Changemakerxchange global community, helping social innovators connect, learn, and grow together.

✨ Julie believes entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for creating bottom-up change, solving local challenges, and generating employment opportunities. Her work is driven by the conviction that access to entrepreneurship should not be a privilege reserved for a few, but an opportunity available to anyone with the motivation to create positive change.

Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight inspiring women who are transforming communities and strengthening the future of social innovation.

🎉 DIGI-SEII’s in-person training session in Brussels was a success!

A diverse group of SESO practitioners came together on 27 to 28 March to explore how digital tools and skills can enhance the impact of their organisations. Through interactive sessions, participants gained practical insights into leveraging digital tools and developing effective digital strategies. The next step is to share this knowledge within their organisations and wider social enterprise networks.

While the program's online modules and training sessions provide valuable learning opportunities, this face-to-face training created space to form stronger connections among participants. 🤝

SESOs play a vital role in driving Europe’s digital transformation. However, many organisations still face challenges in accessing the resources, skills, and strategic guidance needed to fully harness digital tools. That is why DIGI-SEII is so important.

👉 Is your organisation struggling to develop a digital strategy and maximise the potential of digital tools? The second call for DIGI-SEII training opportunities for both Social Economy Enterprises (SEs) and Social Economy Support Organisations (SESOs) will open soon. Stay tuned for more information!

✨ Spotlight on Impact: Lise Pape

As part of our series celebrating women driving change across innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact, we highlight leaders who are transforming lived experience into meaningful solutions that improve everyday lives.

🌍 Meet Lise Pape: Founder of Walk With Path

💡 In 2014, Lise founded Walk With Path, inspired by her academic work and her personal experience with Parkinson’s disease in her family. The company launched its first product, Path Finder, in 2017 — a visual cueing shoe attachment designed to support people living with Parkinson’s. A second innovation, Path Feel, a haptic feedback insole to improve balance and monitor gait, is currently launching.

At the heart of Lise’s work is a deep commitment to improving quality of life through accessible, wearable technologies that integrate seamlessly into daily routines. Her products address mobility challenges holistically, recognising their impact not only on physical movement but also on mental health and wellbeing.

✨ Her work is a powerful reminder that inclusive innovation begins with lived experience and that designing for real human needs can transform both systems and lives.

Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight more inspiring women leading the way in social innovation.
