For more than 25 years, onion seed producer Bikram Singh has been supplying quality seeds and sharing cultivation knowledge with around 300 farmers across Punjab. Now, in collaboration with PUM expert Chris Kik, he is taking the next step in strengthening his business.

Together, they reviewed the entire production chain, identifying practical opportunities to further improve seed quality, storage, crop monitoring and market positioning. These improvements will not only strengthen the company's future growth but also contribute to more reliable onion production for the farmers it serves.

The impact goes beyond agriculture. With a predominantly female workforce and a strong focus on knowledge sharing, the company continues to create opportunities for local communities.

Strong growth: PUM-supported SMEs see boost in revenue.

Our latest impact survey reveals encouraging results: 78% of the companies reported increased revenue in the past financial year. Overall, they experienced 18% growth rate over the past two years. At the same time, 21% of the SMEs continue to operate in challenging circumstances, facing economic crises, inflation, and conflicts.
