interaction with city and nature. "SPATIUM" stands for the Latin root of SPACE and logo design comes from Chinese etymology "空"(Kong, means artificial cave, the beginning of architecture). They indicates that the nature of space is the fundamental focus in the studio. By exploring the new experience of space, we enriches the understanding of universe. We insist collaboration will continue to play a fundamental part of design. Design is not only designer's creativity, it also needs the collaboration from owners, engineers and governments etc. to optimize the projects. SPATIUMstudio neither take modernist dogma of economy, practicality and beauty as a starting point, nor take capitalist principles of commercialisation and labelling as a criteria. Instead, we pursuit re-definition of architecture in the new era, and to refine and reinterpret architecture through practice.
