The sheer absurdity of not bringing a laptop on stage at times makes me doubt my own sanity at times. 🐻 But how I love the feeling this when everything just clicks and the music at that very moment will NEVER return. It’s risky..as I proved to myself many times. But when it works it is so much more special, only there in that single situation, at that moment.

VA is out today on Compiled from tracks made in the studio on old dutch test equipment. I couldn’t choose which track I wanted to send in so I submitted two; a one take synthesizer jam called ‘Dungeon Synth’ which literally sounds like dungeon synth. As you can see me hunchbacking like a real dungeon queen over the Philicorda. The other track ‘Hypnoversum’ an ambient, vibey, techno track was made by cutting, pasting and processing organs and all kinds of sounds from the studio. I even just ticking on the windows with a pen and then processing that through tape.

My studio 🥰 did quite some upgrades over the last year including acoustic panels, stand and lighting. Always with kkitrycat on the lap who doesnt seem bothered with loud music. Also love my latest additions, the monomachine, the super udo and a hefty expansion of the modular to increase sound design possibilities. Goodbye spaarrekening 💸
