Last Saturday. Yoga Nidra Concert at the Nieuwe Kerk. A church full of people lying down in a slumber mode enjoying relaxing Indian Mantra’s and spiritual songs. It was a beautiful experience to be part of. Thanks to Aks&Lakshmi, Daniëlle Van Driel Veltman, Zuiderstrandtheater and DesiYUP!

CODARTS Exam_part 2 The second song I performed during mij final exam is Raga Hansdhwani, a beautiful Raga which has a South-Indian origin. This is Raga which I have tried to learn for many years, and finally I got the chance to perform it. The composition Lagi Lagan Sakhi Pati San is a classic, and is set to a rhythmic cycle of 16 beats (teentala). I was accompanied by Yama Sarshar, Sathyam Sheoratan and Deniz Schelfi.
