Our free adaptation of Rembrandt's intimate painting: The Jewish bride, who was probably not Jewish. We were asked to photograph a dear friend with his fiancee. Their photoshoot ofcourse remains private. Later we decided to use the same clothes, backdrop and lighting once more with us modelling as the married couple. We don't aim to be historically correct. We always use vintage clothes, secondhand items to create a 17th century look, but not an exact copy. Credits to photographer Andor Kranenburg
