🎉🍻 will celebrate their 12th anniversary at their brand new home: Kaapse Kaai. An impressive historic industrial complex that is now being transformed into new use, located on the south bank in Rotterdam with views over the river. In 1891, the margarine factory opened here. What began as a production company grew into one of the largest industrial complexes in Rotterdam and later even became the beating heart of Unilever. For years, packs of margarine rolled off the production lines here, jars of peanut butter were filled, and products such as Blue Band, Zeeuws Meisje, and Calvé left the factory. Virtually every Dutch household had something from this factory in its cupboard.
The anniversary lineup of guest breweries from across Europe include:
Norm Brewing Company (BE)
to Øl (DK)
Brussels Beer Project (BE)
La Pirata Brewing (ES)
Brouwerij de Kromme Haring (NL)
Laugar Brewery (ES)
Walhalla (NL)
Q***r Brewing (UK)
The Kernel (UK)
Sleeping Village (NO)
Fermentage (PT)
Tickets on sale at their website! Cheers!🍻🎉

🪁Always interesting exhibitions at Rotterdam🪁✨During his life, Malcolm Goodman collected more than 500 kites while traveling through over 50 countries. Together with his wife Jeanette, he bought an old bed & breakfast in Middleton-in-Teesdale, England, with the dream of transforming it into a kite museum. Room after room filled up with extraordinary kites—but sadly, permission to open the museum was never granted due to fire safety regulations. Luckily, the story didn’t end there. Our friends from the Dutch kite club—Scheltens&Abbenes, Bertjan Pot and Peter Hebbing—together with curator Charlotte Martens made this remarkable collection a traveling exhibition. Its first stop: Rotterdam 🪁❤️ 🎏 And it’s absolutely worth a visit.> go see for yourself! Till August 30th 🪁

With this film series, current developments in Iran will be explored, using cinema as point of departure. Across six film evenings, the rich and internationally influential Iranian film culture takes center stage—a cinema that, despite political restrictions, has for decades produced innovative and daring films.
The films are further enriched by contributions from, among others, writer Kader Abdolah, filmmaker Beri Shalmashi, human rights activist Mardjan Seighali, programmer and writer Bahram Sadeghi, and Rotterdam city council members Mina Morkoç and Elika Rehim Zadeh.
