Analogue microtonal ambient drone machine Solar 42, by Elta Music.

The instrument was inspired by early electronic musical instruments of the 1920s and 1950s, notably Leo Theremin's «Harmonium» instrument, as well as science fiction film soundtracks.

A lesser known synthesizer manufacturer, Elta Music is based in Riga, Latvia. Founded in Moscow in 2017 by Ukrainian musician Arseniy Tokarev, Elta Music has taken up the torch of the Polivoks synth legacy, arguably the most popular and well-known Soviet synthesizer in the West.

Buchla Music Easel!

Originally released in 1973 in a few dozen copies, the Music Easel is one of the earliest portable devices of its kind. It revolutionized music creation by offering a comprehensive range of musical dimensions: timbre, melody, rhythm, and time. These dimensions were no longer dictated by acoustics and physical materials, but by signals and voltage.
