THE SIGHTS, SOUNDS AND SMELLS OF YESTERYEARS 🕰️

The Isle of Man. A tiny island with an incredibly large reputation. And history, we may say.. The island was buzzing with the Isle of Man TT races five wees ago. And in just five weeks, the island will be packed with race bikes again. But race bikes of a different kind, and primarily, of a different era. Get ready of the Isle of Man Classic TT. A true celebration of the golden eras of racing.

The Classic TT rides together in the same week with the ManxGP on the famous island. Riders race the same route as the contenders of the Isle of Man TT: the legendary Mountain Course. During the ManxGP, newcomers and privateers get to race this incredible road racing track. In 2013, the Classic TT was introduced. In no time, it made its mark, and captured the hearts of both visitors and locals. Riders and fans alike. The magic? The sights, sounds and smells of yesteryears.

During the Classic TT, you will see original classic races bikes in action, alongside meticulously prepared replicas that celebrate the golden eras. In the Historic Senior class you’ll see race bikes like the classic Honda CB500 and the Yamaha TX500. Last year, the Historic Junior class was pretty much dominated by the Honda CB350. The Lightweight class generally has a lot of variety. Famous race bikes models come in action, like the Honda VFR400, and its successor, the RVF400. But you will also see competitive lightweight bikes from for example Kawasaki and Yamaha in action.

The Formula One class stars classic superbikes like the Yamaha OW-01, the classic GSX-R, the Kawasaki ZXR750, and of course the Honda RC30. You won’t just see Japanese bikes in action. Exotics like Ducati, Bimota and Norton also go up the Mountain Course. It is a true feast for the senses, both visual and audio wise. Keep an eye out, during the 17th and 28th of August!
