Iron Man’s Anthem: A Tribute to Ozzy is out today.

Thorndale got invited and we aimed at pulling a classic Sabbath cut into our own lane—heavy, reverent, and unapologetically loud—without trying to be a carbon copy.

Ozzy’s legacy runs from the earliest Black Sabbath era onward, and this comp celebrates that with 24 bands reimagining iconic tracks in their own voice.

There’s this strange silence after Ozzy.
The guy who helped invent heavy music is gone, and it feels like the air shifted. The band that started it all, and suddenly there’s a Sabbath‑shaped void hanging over everything.

When we were asked to be part of Iron Man’s Anthem: A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, one question kept coming back:

How do you choose just one song when every riff is burned into your bones?

And how do you pay tribute without just doing a Xerox of something that’s been covered a thousand times already?

For us, the only way was this: keep the heart of the song – the weight, the sadness, the stubborn hope – and let Thorndale’s own dirt, groove and scars bleed through. Not imitation. Just a loud, honest “thank you” to the man and the band that rewired our heads.

In the end we went with a track that always felt like a Thank You and a statement rolled into one: “After Forever”.
