As a JDA WMS Functional Designer you are responsible for a functional JDA warehouse management system design, technical configuration, and integration at the Starware’s clients’ bases.

In this role, you get to learn about the different warehouse processes. Not to mention that you learn something new every day as you get to explore the diverse variety of logistics organisations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are a (JDA) WMS enthusiast with a desire to always find the best solution. Additionally, you love to challenge and to be challenged. You are willing to personally travel to the client (sometimes abroad) to ensure the best delivery of the JDA solution.

Furthermore, you are familiar with writing ad hoc SQL queries to pull data for analysis & reading SQL Trace files. Ideally, you have experience working in the supply chain warehousing industry & have knowledge of the JDA WMS configuration.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

-Work closely with the business to enhance the JDA solution design.
-Define the needed customisations to the standard JDA product.
-Support the business with JDA testing and testing scenarios.
-Document the JDA solution or design in English.
-Setting up the JDA WMS with all warehouse flows defined using the master data, locations, and item information.
-Setting up areas and work zones setting up the integrator to enable EDI messaging, JDA EMS for Alerting, and RDT for handhelds.
-Performing a GAP Analysis in order to find out the gaps between the requirements and the JDA WMS product.
